An Capaillín 2011 Cover Photo
The CPBS recently ran a Facebook Competition to decide which photo would grace the cover of its upcoming edition. This was a fun and imaginative event, which drew much comment and over 150 entries. Each photo was uploaded to Facebook, and the public were invited to ‘Like’ a photo of their choice. The winning photo was of Rineen Scoidín (The Duchess – M1-14058) ‘at grass before foaling at Achill island’s Deserted Village, with the beautiful Minaun Cliff’s in the background’ and was taken by Sarah Calvey. You can see the winning pic, as well as the entire gallery here. It’s well worth a visit, with many, many photos easily worthy of a place on any magazine.
