Ballinalee Show 2009

Held annually on the second Sunday in June (Sun. 14th June this year) in Aughnashannagh, Ballinalee, County Longford, the Ballinalee Connemara Pony Show is a thoroughly enjoyable day out for all the family. All the ponies featured are registered Connemara Ponies.

You’ll get the chance to see them take part in in-hand and performance classes. There’s also a dog show on the day for man’s best friend and a fun parade to keep everyone in high spirits.

One of the largest of its type in the country, the show completely transforms this rural village for its duration and leaves it buzzing long after.

   Just note that you dont have Clifden Show on the diary for Friday 21st as well as Thursday 20th August.
