Banks Vanilla Supreme for Garryhinch Stud at Ballinalee

A dream day for Sean Dunne and Garryhinch Stud when his Danish import Banks Vanilla took the Supreme Championship, and his home-bred Garryhinch Swallow took the Junior Championship. Banks Vanilla earlier won the 6-9 Years old reg. Connemara Mare class, came second in the Mare & Foal class, and was the oustanding mare on view, despite stiff competition from several terrific mare classes – as good as will be found at any show for the rest of the summer. Swallow won an oustanding 2yo filly class, where there were 22 forward, with Ashbrook Órga in second place.

Frances Forester, Mary Tynan, and their fellow commttee members should be thrilled with a great day’s showing.
