The Doyher Connemara Stud of Nina Tiainen, a long time Finnish proponent of quality breeding and well known and regarded by breeders well beyond her native shores, has just launched an english language version of her website
The site is (in my own humble opinion) a top quality one, brimful of simply beautiful photography by Satu Pitkannen of Rozpravka Photography with shots of grace and accuracy without losing any of each pony’s individual charm. Every pony is presented with a page of its own that includes geneology, breeding history, ability details, and portrait and profile pictures. Users can browse through sections for Mares, Foals, Other Ponies, Ponies For Sale, News, Gallery, and Links.
The News section – having just being launched – simply notes the launch of the new site and Nina and her team’s hopes for lots of visitors. We hope you’ll all treat yourselves to some Finnish style and head on over!
EDIT: The News page is actually a sort of splash page to the news items themselves. Just click where it says ‘take a look at the 2009 news!’ and that’ll take you through to the Stud’s (english) blog. More photos and breeding info abound. Here’s the direct link.
