The sun shone on another succesful Dublin Horse Show at the grounds of the Royal Dublin Society in Dublin last week. Here is a small selection of photo’s from the event (also added to the gallery) with some notes…
It was a unique breeding achievement for Beatrice Maxwell Murphy when full-brothers Glennrua Native and Glennrua Maxwell took first and second in the Ridden Stallion class. Our pictures show Sarah Jane Sinnott on Native and a very proud Lorna Murphy on Maxwell. We can get a closer look at Glennrua Maxwell – already a winner of the Stallion Class in Clifden, as well as being an Elite Stallion – being ridden in the main arena during the Parade of Champions by Lorna.
The undoubted star of the RDS for Connemara Pony enthusiasts was European Gold Medallist (individual) and Silver Medalist (team) Ballyowen Maybelle Molly. Our pic shows Molly and the team parading in the main arena before the Nations Cup Competition for the Aga Khan trophy.
It was a busy day for Carol on duty at the CPBS stand during the week. With the success of Molly and Darkie and the hugely successful Working Hunter Classes on Wednesday, as well as the in-hand and ridden classes on Thursday, it was the most exciting and encouraging week ever for the Connemara Pony.
Brilliant website. One of the best iv seen.Well done.
