A good one-two for Irish-bred Connemaras at HOYS, which runs at Birmingham from the 7th to the 11th. Winner of Class 28a (for Connemaras and NewForest) was Lecarrow King (S1-4338) owned by Henrietta Knight and Lady Vesty from the Lockinge Connemara Stud, ridden by Sam Roberts. In second place was Knockanroe Champ (G-3095) owned by Mrs J Bloor and ridden by Rosie Bloor. With many more connemaras in action during the week, we’ll keep you in touch.
