ICCPS International Committee Elections ~ Connemara’s Success at Nordic/Baltic Championships
At the recent meeting of the International Committee of Connemara Pony Societies Tuula Pyöriä (Finland) was re-elected for a second year to the chair, with Susan McConnell as Secretary and Padraig Heanue as Treasurer. The main thrust of the committee’s work over the next year will be the establishment of better communications between all the members and the completion of the database which will eventually have the details of the connemara ponies of the world available online.
Tuula told the meeting of the success of two Connemaras – Lavally Prince and Some Man For One Man – who took gold and silver for Tina Høgsaas Dalen (Norway) and Alma Björklund (Sweden) respectively at the Nordic/Baltic Championships (25-28 June) 2009.
