Inaugural Bartley O’Sullivan Lecture
In an enthralling lecture on Saturday night in the Station House Theater, in front of a very appreciative international audience, Lib Petch spoke on ‘The Influence of Thoroughbred Blood in the Connemara Pony‘. Beautifully illustrated with hitherto unseen photographs of ponies like Little Model and Texas Hope and many others, Ms Petch traced the contribution of throroughbred stallions like Adventure, Winter, and Little Heaven among others, to the athleticism and jumping prowess witch is now synonymous with the Connemara Pony. The good news for those who couldn’t make it is that the lecture will be available in booklet form later in summer! We’ll post as soon as we get the precise details on that.
