Line-up for Fontainebleau 2010

Ann Reade writes to let us know that fourteen Connemara ponies competed on the HSI Spring Tour, the final being held at Cavan Equestrian Centre on 3/4th April last. Six Connemaras and two part breds are heading for Fontainebleau on the 10th to compete there from 15th-18th of April. They are:

  • Brook Boy (G1-3810)
    By Ferdia (S-919), ex Murvey Cherry (M-10221) by Moy Hazy Cove (S-888).
    Owned by Jean Finney and ridden by Nina Mulligan. He has 143 points and was foaled in 2003.
  • Grey Ross
    By I Love You Melody (IS 6), ex Ros Abbey (M-10275) by Abbeyfort (S-824).
    Owned by Sorcha Kenny and ridden by Roisin Kenny. Grey Ross has 371 points and was foaled in 2002.
  • Ballydoolagh Dreamer (S2-1376)
    By Field of Dreams (S-1070), ex Curraghnakeely Christmas Cracker (M-11644) by Aran Brown Bomber (S-999).
    Owned by Elaine Whiteside and ridden by Yvonne Whiteside. Ballydoolagh Dreamer has 229 points and was foaled in 2002.
  • Woodfield Rinrush (S2-1329)
    By Tulira Robuck (S-1041), ex Mira Lily (M-10653) by Westside Mirah (S-892).
    Owned by Eileen Nolan and ridden by John Nolan. Woodfield Rinrush has 200 points and was foaled in 2003.
  • Manninard Seabird
    By Killary Cashel (S-1086), ex Zara (M-11668) by Murphy Rebel.
    Owned by Fran O’Hagan and ridden by Colm O’Hagan. Manninard Seabird has 122 points and was foaled in 2004.
  • Cappagh Lad (G3-4000)
    By Coosheen Stormboy (S-1116), ex Golden Harvest (M-8034) by Graney Rebel (S-186).
    Owned by Noel Delahunty and ridden by Lauren Delahunty. He has 47 points and was foaled in 2004.

The two part bred ponies travelling are:

  • Allihies Fir Baoi
    By Templebready Fear Bui (S-880). Owned by Susan Sweetnam and ridden by Jeremy Sweetnam. He has 686 points and was foaled in 1999.
  • Garryndruig Gold Digger
    By Templebready Fear Bui (S-880). Owned by Wayne Santry and ridden by John Nolan. He has 264 points and was foaled in 2002.
