Good news at last that the M6 has opened today. Galway to Dublin is now merely two hours. For those who break the limit (Dublin Reg!) it’s possible in close to one and a half. It was built by a Spanish company, and, with all due respects, we’re glad they’re gone. Maybe in time we will forgive the appalling state of the minor roads and the utter disrespect for the locals, but it may take a while.
