Midlands Forge Ahead
Mary Rabbitt, the Secretary of the Midlands Connemara Pony Breeders Group, has informed us of the excellent news that the Group are once again holding a Table Quiz and Auction of Stallion nominations on Friday 12th March 2010 (in the Auld Shebeen, Moate, Co. Westmeath at 9.00 p.m). At noon, on the 21st of March, is the Group’s Stallion Parade, sponsored by Red Mills and hosted in the Mullingar Equestrian center where loose Jumping facilities are made available*.
Then, on the 24th of April, they will run the inaugural Connemara Pony Conference with national and international speakers. It promises to be a hugely educational and entertaining event (lunch will be provided).
*Due to Insurance Restrictions stallion owners will be unable to show their stallions under saddle on the day.
