North-East Group Host Inaugural Show
The North East Connemara Pony Breeders Group has gone from strength to strength since it had the first meeting in October 2009. With nearly 40 passionate Connemara Pony breeders from the counties of Cavan, Dublin, Louth, Meath and Monaghan the group regularly meet; with guest speakers to date including Teagasc equine advisor Declan McArdle and Karl Gilsenan from the Irish Shows Association.
After securing the spectacular venue that is Newbridge House and Farm in north Co. Dublin the group has announced the date of its first show as Sunday July 17th. With beautiful grounds and great facilities on hand, Newbridge House is only precisely two minutes from the M1 Motorway and close by Dublin Airport. A really interesting range of Showing in Hand classes and the ever popular Puissance is being planned, along with excellent prizes should make it a definite for the Show diary.
