North Eastern Show Schedule
Taking place for the first time, on Sunday July 17th, the North Eastern Connemara Pony Breeders Group (NECPBG) Show – featuring a Connemara Puissance contest (run under S.J.A.I Rules) – will host a worthy total purse of over €3000 for successful exhibitors. The superb setting of Newbridge House, Donabate, will assure a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, and, being only two minutes from the M1, should expect to draw a crowd.
Prizes are set for each class: 1st – €100, 2nd – €75, 3rd – €50, and 4th – €25.
- Class 1: Registered Connemara Yearling Filly
- Class 2: Registered Connemara 2 year old Filly
- Class 3: Registered Connemara 3 year old Filly
- Class 4: Registered Connemara Gelding 1, 2 and 3 year-olds
- Class 5: Junior Championship
- Class 6: Registered Connemara Filly Foal qualifier for All Ireland Foal Championships
- Class 7: Registered Connemara Colt Foal qualifier for All Ireland Foal Championships
- Class 8: Registered Connemara Mare 4 and 5 year old with or without foal at foot
- Class 9: Registered Connemara Mare 6 to 9 year old with or without foal at foot
- Class 10: Registered Connemara Mare 10 year old and over with or without foal at foot
- Class 11: Senior Championship
In-Hand Classes commence at 11 am sharp.
Classes 8, 9 and 10 are all qualifiers for All Ireland Broodmare Championships. Mares must have foal at foot to qualify.
The Puissance competition commences at 1.30 pm sharp.
All entries must be on field by 12pm.
