On the Road Again…
The new motorway – everyone between Galway and Dublin will know which one! – has finally reached the soft soil of east Co. Galway. Farms of all sizes and shapes are finding themselves affected, with once peacful surroundings now displaying scenes of modern, mechanised, destruction and construction. Cattle, back on the fields for some sweet spring forage, find themselves neighbours to some very unusual steel beasts. Our own land has avoided (narrowly) being cut in two…
