Photo Exhibition at Alcock & Brown
An exhibition of photographs by Pam Cligan (Visit her site at FredTheCat.co.uk) will be held at the Alcock & Brown Hotel from the 17th to the 21st of August. Pam has ridden, bred and been involved with Connemara ponies for nearly 40 years and is in her second year as a Junior Judge with the CPBS, Ireland. She trains, rides, shows and helps run Lanburn Connemaras with her father, (also a Connemara Judge) Bob Blackburn OBE, whose photographs will also be on display.
The photographs will all feature Connemaras, with particular emphasis on the Clifden Show of 1983.
Copies of their 2010 Connemara Pony Calendar are available to order from her site. Only 100 will be printed initially, and they appear to be going well. The twelve months all feature Connemara ponies in Connemara itself.
