It’s finally here! The Pony of the Decade poll is now up! See the bottom of the page to view our list of twenty contenders for the top spot – pick five you consider to be the best Connemaras of the Noughties. When January 31st rolls around, we’ll close the poll and see which Pony comes out on top.
(If you’re reading this via PubSub, Firefox Live Bookmarks, ROME, or Google Reader you’ll have to make the jump over here to vote.)
This poll follows on from our previous ‘Pony of the Year’ poll (you can see the results of that tightly contested one here), and will be followed in February by a ‘Best Connemara Pony’ poll featuring ponies all the way back to Cannon Ball, as narrowed down by a panel of experts.
Our poll features Currachmore Cashel, April Star, Fredrickesminde Hazy Match, Castle Baron, Ballyowen Maybelle Molly, Dexter Leam Pondi, Sillogue Darkie, Alladin’s Denver, Glencarraig Prince, April Rose, Castle Countess, Coral Misty, Irishtown Beauty, Eastlands Burnibrae, Jennifer Rose, Bunowen Castle Rí, Coosheen Breeze, Castle Comet, and Tulira Katie Daly. It’s a good cross-gender mix, but if you can think of any glaring omissions, let us know as quick as you can and we’ll include it before too many votes are in.
