Quick Technical Note about Subscriptions
Hi everyone, Éamonn here with a small note for all of you that are subscribing to the blog. AshbrookStud.ie is now utilising Google’s Feedburner service to amalgamate and analyse our RSS feed. This will have no affect on existing subscriptions, it just means all new subscribers will be directed through the Feedburner service to get to the good stuff.
To those of you with existing subscriptions, if the above means nothing to you and you are uncomfortable with making any changes, don’t worry about it – your subscription is solid and will not change.
To those who are willing, if you would like to cancel your existing subscription (currently WP’s default ‘rss2′) and re-subscribe (you will now be directed through Feedburner), that would be great as we can then get a handle on just how many subscribers we have, etc. We will, in the future, be posting update posts strictly for RSS readers through Feedburner so it’ll be good not to miss those too.
