A new look ‘Ponies’ section is ready for your perusal here at AshbrookStud.ie. We’ve updated the layout of the Broodmares pages, as well as Blue Smokie’s, and we’re very pleased to be taking the opportunity to extend our sales area to include some beautiful new foals. As if I wasn’t overworked and underpaid enough, also new is the ‘Young Stock‘ section in which you can see the prize-winning Ashbrook Órga, right through to the handsome Bullaun Warrior.
The ponies’ pages are now bigger, more cleanly laid out and easier to follow and read, so hopefully you’ll like them. All the ponies now have a link beside them through which you can send us an e-mail for any further details you would kile, or think should be included on the page. We’re quite pleased with how they’ve turned out, but improvements can always be made! The ‘Through the Years’ section has, unfortunately not been overhauled yet, but we hope to get around to it over the coming week or so, timetable permitting. Let us know what you think!
As a P.S: remember to vote in our Poll (in the sidebar) if you haven’t already. Asking which you regard as the Pony of the Year, the results so far strongly support Ballyowen Maybelle Molly at over 40% of the votes so far cast. Her European Championships team mate Sillogue Darkie is proving no slouch, however, and is keeping tabs on Molly from somewhere around the 35% mark. Sillogue was within a single vote of the 2009 star not so long ago, but a recent batch of votes for Molly has given that pony a more comfortable lead. Coming in at third and forth are Currachmore Cashel and Prospect Peter – the latter gaining but a few votes, possibly as his principal success (the 148 class at the RDS) is perhaps less well known in comparison to the others.
We’re only ten days into September, and some 53 of you have already voted. There are plenty more of you who haven’t, so make sure to get your vote in by the end of the month!
