Results from U.S. Midwest Breeders Show
The second annual Midwest Connemara Pony Breeders Show was held in Peotone, Illinois over the weekend and by all accounts proved a success. Heather Sheratt travelled from Canada to judge the In-Hand rings and announce Elmshoots Krispin O’Thule (Gunsmoke x Ridgetop Thule Mist by Aladdins Denver) as Supreme Champion of the Show and Murvey Inver Lor (Currachmore Cashel x Murvey Cara by Boden Park Finnard) as its Reserve. Windy Isles Island Prince (Coral Bobby x Fairyhill Queen by Fairyhill Hawk) was declared Junior Champ, followed by Sooey Annabelle (The Quietman x Kilmurray Aisling Owen by Glanns Owen) as Junior Reserve. Foal Champion was Blue Rock Maria (Wildwych Eclipse x Murvey Inver Lor by Currachmore Cashel). Overall Performance Purebred Champion was The Quietman (Moy Hazy Cove x Blaithín Chonamara by Cloonisle Cashel).
