Moorlands Totilas could become the most expensive dressage horse in the world following conjecture that he carries a €25m price tag. The stallion broke the freestyle-to-music world record at Olympia 2009, scoring 92.3%. His owner Kees Visser has said that “maybe €20 or €25 million (£22m) would be the price.” Locarno 62, the ride of Ellen Whitaker, is currently the most expensive five-year-old imported to Britain, costing €1 million in 2005.
