Vincent O Brien
We join with horse enthusiasts everywhere in mourning the passing of the legendary Vincent O Brien, generally regarded as the greatest horse trainer of all. In the late ‘forties and ‘fifties his accomplishments transended the sporting arena and lifted the spirit of the nation, particularly through his exploits in Aintree where he won three successive grand nationals with three different horses.
